Beautiful, but runs large

I am 5'4" , 120 pounds, 34 B. The size finder put me in a medium, but I ordered a small. The small is still pretty big on me. I had to shorten the straps all the way, and even then, it still gapped a bit around the back and arms. I returned it for an extra small. I think I will have to hem it up no matter what size. Fingers crossed XS works, because it is a beautiful dress.

Good looking dress

Nice dress.. the reason why I am rating it at 4 starts is because of the length. I am 5'4 and need to bring it altered as it is too long.. otherwise happy with the purchase.

Lovely, with some sizing issues

I bought this dress in both white and navy. Both are lovely with the gold details, the white being a light cream or ivory rather than pure white, and the navy being a dark navy/midnight. The material is a bit thicker and less flowy than I would desire, having the feel of pure cotton (it's a blend), but this is presumably to accommodate the beautiful embroidery, and has the advantage of being totally opaque so that I don't need undergarments (essential for Hawaii summers). The adjustable straps and pockets are much appreciated. My main issue is with sizing. I'm 5'2" 126lbs 34C. The chest feels like a perfect, fitted fit (my shoulders and back are a little bigger from surfing). The length is absolutely preposterous on me (I know I'm short ;-), and because of the thick fabric with pockets, the dress flares out strangely where the pockets are, rather than hanging flat. Trying to decide whether to hem what I have, or size down to XS in the hopes that the total volume is less (but then would risk the chest being too small). Decisions, decisions...

Absolutely love this dress! The shimmer of gold is perfect. The material is fabulous. The dark blue color goes with everything. A statement piece for the summer here in the desert!

Perfect balance

Dress up or down great fit although really long for me, I don’t wear heels - hemmed up and works great. Love the gold shiny bits.
